This site is dedicated to the treasured memory of Monica
and to her beloved Mother Earth

After Monica died, Toivo (the only one of her 3 sons to survive her and who lovingly nurtured her during the last 5 months of her life) and Anna (close friend of Monica and the family) discussed the possibility of creating a website to make her extraordinary work more accessible to a larger public. However, Toivo takes after his Mum and is a low-tech sort of guy, so Annie (his partner) and Anna got together and spent many weeks doing overtime researching, scanning, typing,  formatting, making hundreds of links and - "Oh No!!" - having quite a few mishaps along the way! This is the result.
It's been hard for us two amateur computer tappers to do justice to Monica's inspiring work. On top of that we know you had a deep-felt dislike for computers, dear Monica! Nevertheless we feel you would approve that your art and writing can now be shared with thousands of people all over the world! We like to believe you are now one of the "Great Female Beings Out There", which you used to talk to us about. And we hope this tribute to you makes you smile out there.

I am saddened to say that our dear friend Anna Fraser passed away, after a brave struggle with cancer, in February 2011. She is greatly missed.
